KITSILANO
Kitsilano and 4th Avenue are located 5 minutes from downtown Vancouver, near the world famous Kitsilano Beach. The area is accessible from the south end of Vancouver's two main bridges, Granville Bridge & Burrard Bridge. Granville Bridge's right turn off empties right onto 4th Avenue. Coming off the Burrard Bridge, 4th Avenue is four blocks south. See the map!

Kitsilano is named for Chief Khatsahlanough, a leader of one of the Squamish First Nations Bands that originally inhabited the area around Kits Point and the Maritime Museum.

Long considered one of the city's trendiest shopping and dining districts, Kitsilano's West 4th Avenue is Vancouver at its most genuine and down to earth - a true treasure - a place to relax and explore.
